In regard to Larry Sewell message, the answer is no CBS will not release that pilot that you mentioned. It is so bad, that only the VIP saw and said no! They said it was like a show from the A Team. Do you remember that show on NBC? There suppose to make a movie on the silver screen called Hawaii Five-O. Okay! Let me ask you Hawaii Five-O fan, if there was a movie made for the big screen, who would play the main roll of Steve McGarrett, who would play Dano and the Governor

After all these years, still love all episodes, but like many others, always hoping a new show will come about.I saw a note about a pilot episode with Gary Busey, and Dannp as govenor, is it available anywhere. [Trust me, you do NOT want to see this show. It is VERY, VERY BAD -- even worse than twelfth season episodes! - MQ] Please please, hopefully this show can be recreated. As a fan of the show, and the love of the state, it would be great to see a new show. Maholo

I think CBS/Paramount should release the entire series regardless if Chin Ho is out of Season 11 and Dano is out of Season 12. I’m ready for Season 3 and 4 to come out. Maybe it will be released during November, in time for Christmas. Does anyone out there know when the Hawaii Five-O Movie will be made? There’s been a lot of talk, but nothing came about it. Last I heard George Ito, Director (Hawaii Five-O who did the Capsule Kidnapping) was working with DreamWorks Studio’s. Does anyone out there know for sure if a movie of Hawaii Five-O will be released? If George Ito is reading this, I have written a script that would be a blockbuster for a movie. Please let us all know. Thank you Dr. Phil

Very interested to see Henry's top 25 episode title list. I rememeber 'You don't have to kill to be rich, but it helps'. Great title and a terrific performance by Bill Shatner.Season 3 or 4? 'Fools die Twice' I can't remember, but it would indeed be a good 'Bond' movie title for Bond 22. Meanwhile over here we still await [patiently!] the release of season 2 on region 2.

Last winter, my wife and I visited the 50th state in honor of our 50 birthdays. We love Hawaii 50 and to be in Hawaii is "no ka oi." We long to return, but until then, Hawaii 50 episodes with its' beautiful scenery and Hawaiian customs will have to do. And they do very well. Mahalo, Hawaii 50 and keep the DVD's coming!

Am delighted to find this website and be able to start seeing 5-O once again. Can't wait for the rest of the series. Would also like to see the rest of the Pan Hana excerpts. Any chance they can be found and the whole story made available?

Regarding "Dr. Phil's" inquiry about a father and son being blown up together in which a huge fireball is shown at the end, that was actually in Season 6 (1973-4). Andrew Duggan was in that episode---if he looked familiar in that episode it's also because he was an episode from Season 3 or 4 (I believe) in which he played one of three kidnappers who kidnap a little boy for ransom---except when the ransom drop is made Zulu ends up being kidnapped too. This proves to be a lucky break for the kid because Zulu very courageously helps him to escape from the kidnappers' hideout without any regard to the potential wrath of the kidnappers once they realize what he pulled off on him. Now may I ask a question of those who, like me, regard "Hawaii Five-O" as their favorite TV show of all time? (All right, all right, any other fan can answer this too.) In my view, Season 11 (no more Chin Ho) was somewhat mediocre while Season 12 (Oops, Dan-O was now gone too.) was pretty much atrocious! Perhaps we're jumping way ahead of the curve here, but what would you all think of Paramount just releasing those last two seasons together as a two-season package and perhaps discounting the price? Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if/when Season 10 comes out, we're reading suggestions on this website, on Amazon, etc. that would go something such as "Don't bother buying the last two seasons--they were MUCH lower in quality than the previous ten seasons." If that turns out to be the case, Paramount would have to take this negative word-of-mouth seriously as far as decisions as to whether to put out the last two seasons--and as to what price.

Hi.....I have season 1 and 2 on DVD and they are GREAT! I love this show....TV was never better - that's why it was on so long. I was in Honolulu last April and loved walking around looking for familiar street landmarks that I remembered from the show. I can't wait for season 3. I wish they would release them faster. Thank you Jack Lord and the wonderful cast and crew that gave us HAWAII 50.

Hi everyone. What a great show it was and is in reruns. I loved watching that show during my grade school years and throughout high school. I became a police officer in 1984 here in Dayton and I have to give credit to Hawaii Five-O for my interest in police work. Two years ago I wrote Danno and surprisingly he answered me. I figured he would have been way too busy. He was very nice and I have a great deal of respect for him as a person and an accomplished actor. Congratulations to all the members of the Hawaii Five-O television series staff! Sincerely, Tim Hunley

I'm so happy this show is finally on DVD. I noticed that there is an entry for season 3 on Amazon. Any rumors about when it will be released?

What can you say except that Five-O is one of the best action series of all time. Imagine not having this growing collection after you sit show after show enjoying the deja vu of it all. Please support the effort to distribute all 12 seasons!

Speaking of "lost episodes", has anyone heard of one called, "Your Friendly Neighborhood Five-O Branch", or something similar? This episode involved an ingenious band of Five-0 impersonators/imposters, made-up to look like the actual detectives; right down to a replica of the office, etc. I can't find this epiosde listed in any of the seasons, yet I clearly recall seeing it.

I, too, noticed the main title theme "Edit" on the "Kiss The Queen Goodbye" episode - CBS did the same thing with the "Gunsmoke - 50th" DVD set with one of their episodes - they used the opening titles from a LATER season on this episode! Why is CBS DVD doing these things? I wish I could find an email address to voice these concerns...:-(

Well, I bought Season 2 from Amazon and as with S1, have enjoyed it even though Bored is not in it. Here's a thought: maybe if we're all nice to CBS/Paramount, they'll find Bored and include it in a future Season set as a Special Feature! (We can hope, right?) There is an address on the bottom of the box for Paramount; I think I am going to write them and thank them for releasing the first two seasons and encourage them to keep 'em coming (hint hint, everyone...)OK, other thoughts on S-2: 1) Great to see the "Jack Lord inviting you next week for..." previews, however, there are no previews for "To Hell with Babe Ruth" or "3 Dead Cows at Makapuu" 1 or 2, why? Please don't tell me the Babe Ruth title offends... 2) on "Kiss the Queen Goodbye", the season finale, the title theme starts out with the S-2 version and then abruptly switches to S-1! This must be those 'edits' in the disclaimer on the box. Were there technical problems with the original theme? Could they not get them restored? 3) Loved the music in "40 Feet High & It Kills", very suspenseful & really adds to the tension of the episode. Freeman knew what he was doing back then. 4) I didn't know Nicholas Colasanto ("Coach" from Cheers) directed several episodes that season; did he ever do any other acting besides Cheers? 5) as I hinted above and many others here have posted: let's be nice to CBS-P. We're nice to them and we keep buying these sets, they'll keep 'em coming, and again who knows- they may put Bored in as a Special Feature in a future set. "Next Week: Season 3! Be here. Aloha..."

Count me among the many who would love to be able to watch the BSHH episode. From what I have gathered, it appears that the offensive part of the episode is of very short duration, probably less than a minute. Wouldn't it be possible to just black out that scene, leaving the audio intact?

THIS IS THE BEST SHOWS EVER! HAVE SEASON 1 + 2 , CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR SEASON 3 TO COME TO DVD. I ordered the first season from Amazon.com. It was a used copy but you wouldn't know it by the looks of it! It looks brand new! I used to TiVo it but it stopped coming on The Hallmark Channel. It reminds me of the days of quality tv!usa

Is there a way to get rest of stories from the Pau Hana Excerpts? Found some of the stories, but not all. It's cruel and unusual punishment to read excerpts and not be able to read rest of the story, a tortureous cliffhanger.
