A while back someone asked the question on the classic Five O forum if McG could have been played back then by an Asian and I've thought about it recently. Actually what occurred to me is that the current show would have been much more to my liking if instead of having Alex O they had used the actor who plays Adam (Kono's Husband). He carries himself in a way that is much more like the original character of McG and to me he would seem much more believable as a leader of a police unit. More formal and thoughtful than the current portrayal. I guess I'm just dating myself for thinking that leaders should be professionals who lead by example rather than irresponsible emotion driven Rambo types!
