I got excited too soon, apparently this is a crossover only in the direction of MacGyver, it won't be like the NCIS crossover where they had a story which began on Five-Zero and then continued on NCIS. From what I have learned, Chin Ho, Kono and Kamekona will be seen in this MacGyver show which takes place in Oahu after an earthquake, but everyone else is not seen. Maybe they were crushed by falling buildings or something.
