Characters' voting preferences

Here is an interesting question: Who do you think the main characters in the reboot would have voted for in the recent American election?

McGarrett, with his love of guns and general disregard for crimnals' "rights", would likely have voted for Trump. In general, his character is one of the more conservative ones I've seen on TV, aside from ones whose conservatism exists as a plot point.

Danny seems like a New York liberal to me. His opinions on gun control and some other issues would seem to support that. Pretty sure he would have voted for Hillary.

Kono is female, and Trump likely would have turned her off in various ways, so I'm assuming she also would have voted Hillary.

The original version of Grover (no-nonsense SWAT team guy) would have been hard to guess, but the character transformed somewhat, and he's much less of a hard-ass now. Given that black Americans overwhelmingly vote Democrat, I would have to say he'd be voting Hillary, as well.

Chin is the toughest one to guess. We have not seen much regarding his political views. However, given that Hawaii is in general a Democrat-leaning state, and given that Chin is arguably the most sensitive of the Five-O main characters, I am guessing he wouldn't have been a Trump supporter. He probably also would have voted Hillary.

Jerry is too difficult to tell, given all of his weird conspiracy theories.

Max would have likely gone with Hillary, as modern "geek" culture tends to be very politically liberal.

Oh no, don't tell me Chin is a snowflake.

Come on, Chin. Don't be so sensitive. Man up! Gotta build that wall to keep them haoles out, bruddah!
