The ignorance and stupidity of people is astounding. Despite running a media company, this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. Feel free to pick his comments apart:

MQ Note: This garbage was posted last November ... and there hasn't been a single comment on it since!

This is the longest response to the article on Facebook:

Jean Goonesinghe: I'm falling over myself with laughing. What a load of rubbish. I can't go through word for word, but I will pick up of the the aethsetic beauty, how dare they comment in the looks of the actors in the original, it was far more realistic to use actors who looked like real people. The new one has beach babes and plastic looking actors, you wouldn't get a shot of an old tourist like me walking on the beach. Yes we have a couple of large Hawaiians to show a bit of reality of the Hawaiian culture and we have Gerry, yes the scenery is good because of the photography, but there is too much flashyness. Too much noise, plots are daft. Especially the one where Queen Elizabeth gave them some sort of award. What about the one after McGarrett had the liver transplant, jumping off roofs and chasing some guy. What rot. Caan can't act, all he can do is strut around like a headless chicken and argue with O'L. He also slagged off Jack saying he was a relic and no one remembers him.bearing in mind if it wasn't for Jack there would be no five o and Caan wouldn't even have a job, he should be blinking grateful, as the only reason he has a job is because he is the son of James Caan, and should learn from him how to act. There are too many shallow girlfriends that they get involved with. All the women are babes, why is it that they never fall for an ordinary woman who, say, has a weight problem, or a brace on their teeth,They bring back August March who says he was arrested by a young rookie called McGarrett years before, which didn't make sense, Kono has had a sex change. I could go on. The only thing I approve of is that Kam's son Dennis was given a part, I can see Chin in him so much. The final insult was the CGI of Jack. It was horrible, so cold and dead looking. Jack had the most beautiful eyes and it was a total insult to him. I didn't actually watch the rest after that, the only episode I watched in its entirety was the one about Pearl harbour where they had the beginning in black and white. That was quite moving and an insight to what it was like for the loyal Japanese citizens of the time. One more thing, no one, but no one will ever replace or be better than Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett. He was handsome, smart, cultured, a gentleman and as Danno said in Cop under cover. He was dedicated, honest, intuitive and eminently fair. Now I will get off the soapbox. Re:

It's like something written by a 10 year old. More action, more iPads, iPhones, computers, gadgets, more beautiful looking people. Barf!!

Then after fawning over all the beautiful people on the new show he goes ahead and contradicts himself by saying that the show is realistic because it shows big fat people and people of all shapes and sizes because folks want to see realism, not just good looking people. Re:

This was clickbait.

I don't even think the author believed what he was writing.
