by ringfire211 » Sat Apr 01, 2017 5:39 pmHis best performances were easily in Daisies on His Coffin, Pig in a Blanket, and Beautiful Screamer. Pig in a Blanket was probably his strongest acting! He was great in Journey Out of Limbo as well, and had to take charge of the situation in the classic Bomber and Mrs. Moroney.
by John Chergi » Sat Apr 01, 2017 9:31 pmGreat call Oates on Beautiful Screamer. I was thinking off the top of my head. Anne Archer was really young 1970 Danny's fiancée in the episode. I give Pete King respect for not making problems for Danny after Danny lost his mind punching him. Beautiful Screamer deserves mention as a Classic episode. The Junior Blind was given a nice promotion in the episode and Sally was smart to have the kids lineup together by the rock wall. Walter made a cool killer...He blended in with Danny's group of friends.
I never was a big fan of Lew Morgan. He stained the police badge killing his wife and then hurting more people through the episode. Most Likely To Murder I liked because there were plenty of suspects.
Danny impressed me as a leader when McG was shot 3 times in Yesterday Died...He led the investigation and narrowed it down to Joe Trinnian CPO.
by oates_neely » Sun Apr 02, 2017 8:00 pmPig in a Blanket is one I forgot. The post-bowling scene (with the stock footage from a season 4 episode) makes me laugh as I don't see him as a bowler but a great Danno episode.
