I just found out something interesting - Leonard Freeman's widow who we all know as Rose Freeman was actually actress Joan Taylor. I was just watching an episode of THE RIFLEMAN with Chuck Connors (where she had a recurring role for one season) and decided to look her up on IMDB and was surprised to see she was married to Freeman. So then I looked up Leonard Freeman to see when he married Rose (I assumed after Joan Taylor) and was surprised to find no mention of Rose at all. It showed that he was married only once and only to Joan Taylor. So I was really confused. After some searching I discovered that Joan was Rose. Hmmm, weird. Not only did she change her last name but also her first name. Anyone know anything more about this?

So it appears she was born Rose and then became an actress and took on the name of Joan Taylor (I suppose between Liz Taylor and Robert Taylor it was a popular last name to have in Hollywood) and then later went back to being Rose after quitting acting. Hmm, it's odd watching Milly on THE RIFLEMAN knowing that it's Rose Freeman. To me she was always just the widow of Lenny and the protector of the Five-O property.
