Actually "One Born Every Minute" is an excellent episode. It doesn't quite make my top 5 for season 6 because that was such a strong season, but generally speaking it qualifies as top 5 material. That whole bunco scheme and how each con artist in that whole operation plays his role is riveting to watch. It's also heartbreaking when the poor sucker tosses himself off the balcony after realizing he's been duped. The expression on his face when he realizes what happened really hits you in the gut. It's also an episode I had never seen in reruns until I got the season 6 DVD so it was a special treat to finally see it.

What I don't get is what "Chain of Events" is doing on that list. It's a good episode (and perhaps edgy for its time) but it's far from being any kind of a classic. What's even more bizarre is that there isn't a single episode from the first 2 seasons. You've gotta be kidding me! How is this episode on the list but not "The Box" or "Deathwatch" or "Yesterday Died" or "Singapore File"?

Also where the heck is "Candy and a Gun" and "I'll Kill 'Em Again" and "Nightmare in Blue" and "Secret Witness" and "The Ransom"?

Also agree regarding "One Born Every Minute", which was also one of my favorites.

Agree that "I'll Kill 'Em Again", "Nightmare in Blue", and "Yesterday Died..." should all be near the top.

I agree that "Tour De Force, Killer Aboard" is a weird choice.

Bottom 20 are interesting, in that all are from seasons 10-12.

The worst-rated episode from seasons 1-9 is "To Hell With Babe Ruth", which I agree was pretty bad. That was 23rd worst rated.

Actually I'm a fan of "Tour De Force". The killer is pretty cold-blooded, especially the way he kills that lovely lady that he gets close to in the bird park. I also really dig the finale with him scaling the Ilikai (great scenery below!) and then him getting blasted point blank through the window before plunging down below. It might not make my all-time favorites list but it's still a very good one. Better than "Chain of Events" too! And how about that Charlie Chan line from one of the suspects in regards to Chin Ho?
