Someone e-mailed me the following recently:
I am hoping you can assist me with answering a question that is frustrating me. i have searched for days looking for the information and can't find what I'm seeking.
There was an episode in which one of the Five-O used a pair of binoculars that were really odd. They were "2 into 1" is the best i can describe them. The had two eyepieces and only one tube at the front. I can't remember much else, but they were really strange.
I swear that I read on your site once about these, but I can't find the information now.
My brother is also fascinated with these odd binoculars and I want to find out about them in order to buy him a pair for Christmas.
Can you please help or point me towards a website that you may know of that focuses on technology used in the original Five-O.

by H50 1.0 FOREVER » Wed Sep 14, 2016 5:00 amActually, they were seen in several episodes, although I can't remember which ones. I have a mental image of Chin Ho using them, but I can't remember what he was watching. Very strange looking binoculars, for sure.
