I still have about 6 episodes of Season 12 to watch but A Shallow Grave was a pleasant surprise. It's one of the best episodes of the last 3 seasons. This poor college age kid keeps having visions in Hawaii and gravitates to a story of a criminal about to be released from prison. McG is interested in this kid's information on the case nobody knows. He's placed under hypnosis and nearly dies from the traumatic images he remembers. His heart literally stops. A powerful moment to be sure. 2 HFO veteran actors play the husband and wife who's property 2 criminals supposedly buried the treasure 20 years before. Did the man released from prison know where the treasure is buried? Or did the dead criminal hide it somewhere before he passed away? For Season 12, there's a nice twist ending and I thought a pretty inventive episode.
