RE earlier post: "and one of our faculty has been on the Hawaii Five - O program in the older series and I would love to know just how many times that he appeared." What is his name? Can't go too far without that info.. Besides, I would like to talk to him for possible book purposes... email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Looking to talk to anyone who worked in the background on Five-O the series. Please contact me at above email. Especially looking for photos taken "on the street" by fans and crew who were just standing around watching the filming. Email me for more details on this project. Thanks.

I have a badge that Jack Lord used in the Hawaii Five 0 series. I was wondering if they would like to use it in the new movie. email@example.com

The best replacement for Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett has to be Tommy Lee Jones!!! What is the e-mail for Columbia House? (Try going to http://www.columbiahouse.com/, but be warned they won't deal with people outside the USA. -- MQ)

Great website! Thought you might like to know that I believe that I have the 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible that can be seen in the early first season episodes "Tiger By The Tail", "24 Karat Kill", "Blue Skies" and "Deathwatch". The car has a production date of July 4th, 1967 (Are you sure? According to an expert I consulted, this is highly unlikely, since July 4th is a statutory holiday in the US! - MQ) and is one of only 352 Fairlane convertibles produced with bucket seats in the 1968 model year. Much research has gone into making this connection including contacting CBS, Viacom and previous owners of the vehicle. The VIN number is less than 15 and the car was well equipped for its time. Hope this ads some interest to your website. Thanks again.

I work with websites and I found your site to be very clear and concise, but also visually interesting without going overboard on the wild graphics. Like it!

I'm a Hawaii Five O Fan and it is very hard for me to get this show up in this very cold country where I live, but I have found a book from the 1960's at a flee market. If possible could somebody let me know where can get it.

I have been a fan of show since it aired on CBS in 1968 and have watched every show at least four or five times. When they make the movie they need to be careful on who they pick. Harrison Ford would be my first choice since he is 6'2". Second choice Alec Baldwin. Does anyone know what is going on with the movie and when it will be out?

I think that Alec Baldwin would make a good McGarrett, I thought he would have been excelent even before anyone was talking about making a Five-0 movie. He has the right look. all he needs is a black Mercury. Mike Douglas would not be bad either, but I think Baldwin is the way to go. I think that the story should definetly involve all of the original Five-0 charachters. It would also be cool to have Wo Fat come back, bald head and all. If they want it to work right they should use all the elements of the show, all the charactes have their same elements, but with new actors. as close to the original as posibble, but taking palce in 1999 not in 1969. and NO cheesy stuff OK. I will definetley go see a Hawaii Five-0 movie when it hits the theatres. I know that no one can replace Jack Lord, but he is not available. I think that by doing a good, high quality Five-0 movie, that you will be paying tribute to him, and I think that he would enjoy people enjoying themselves and watching a role that he made famous. This movie could expose a whole generation of people who have never seen the show to it and get them intersted in it. The film could devleop into a very profitable franchise, after all they are making another Mission Impossible movie. And of course DON'T MESS UP THE THEME SONG! excuse my typing, i've had a few beers---CHEERS R

DirecTV/HNS automated recording allows me to record the early morning reruns which I wouldn't miss viewing later in the day for any reason. Makes me more certain than ever that I will retire in Hawaii.

I recently completed the purchase of first ten volumes of the Hawaii Five-O collectors edition from Columbia House. I'm very satisfied with the quality and recommend it any serious Five-O fan. Hopefully Columbia House will release Ten to Twenty volumes, within the next year which I hope will include "A Death in the Family" which the 10th season episode,in which "Chin Ho Kelly" was murdered, and possibly the series finale as well. I'm refering to the last and final episode of Hawaii Five-O that aired in April 1980. I think it will help stimulate more interest in the upcomming motion picture if alot more episodes are released next year.

I just wanted to say how much we used to enjoy watching Hawaii Five O. Last February we went on a cruise and saw Moe Keale play on the crusie ship. Now we want to watch the reruns and see him on the show.
