A great and informative website. It pays great tribute to the show I grew up with and watched from beginning to adulthood. I'm grateful for this website.

Great site. We in the Philadelphia area are fortunate. 5 O is on daily, twice at 10:00AM and 11:00Am on a local station. I never realized I was a 5 O fanatic until I started watching last summer. Thanks for the interesting site.

Jack Lord was the best and all the people that played on the show were great. I miss Jack Lord and I'm sorry he left us. He was a fine man and I still miss his so very much. Thanks for all the great years and I know God is taking care of you in Heaven.

Suggest Tom Hanks, James Belushi or Bill Murray for lead role as any cinematic version will require to be updated and aware of the contemporary world. I don't think it wise to copy the original format directly - a new audience has come along. A "distinctive" central character is demanded, perhaps with a different personality type/outlook to Steve McGarrett. Suggest Joaquin Phoenix ("Gladiator") and Jennifer Aniston ("Friends") as co-stars (an interesting mix!). What about Jonathan Pryce as the adversary, or returning to an episode of the series (like "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan") for plot basis? I wish the venture well. Reza S. Badiyi to do opening credits?!

The guy who played Ben Kokua on 5-0 was Al Harrington, my teacher at Punahou School. I was there the day that Al had had enough with spoiled haole kids and lifted this guy by the neck out of his seat. Al was Hawaii's first All-American in football and he played high school football for Punahou against my cousins, who played for Roosevelt. I continued to see Al through the years, usually at his "South Pacific Man" show in Waikiki. He always gave me and my wife free tickets, free drinks, free pictures, and included us in the show by addressing me and going down memory lane. I think all the malahinis in the audience loved it. So did I! E komo mai, Kirby Wright

Another goof in episode 159, Computer Killer. Near the end, when Danny leads Aarons into the courtroom it appears he is handcuffed but when the camera angle is to their backs, you can clearly see that only one of Aaron's hands is handcuffed.

Is there anyone out there, including fans who reside in Honolulu, where the new "Hawaii Five-O movie will be filmed have any new developements regarding the new movie? I mean such as a tentative Production starting date etc. I'm hoping Mr.Litto and Mrs. Rose Freeman will be on location by late fall or the end of this year, filming the new movie? The sooner it gets filmed, the sooner we get to see and enjoy it. Maybe someone in the Honolulu film Commission or HPD may have a possible start up date for production? Please let us Five-O fans know.

Im a full 5-0 freak,I cant wait for the movie. I heard a lot about them doing a movie but I dont see anything happenning Iam just happy they are still playing the reruns on T.V. They just started showing it again in Hawaii. The thing I like about watching is I can compare what landmarks looked like back in 68 compared to what they look like now. Boy Waikiki has sure grown. ALoha to all the 5-0 fans out there!!
