Last year I had a baby - he is now 7 months old and I guess that is the reason I only found out tonight that Jack Lord passed away. (Obviously I was a bit "brain dead" last year).I have enjoyed this website - it has helped ease the pain.

Susan,If you're looking for info for Khigh Dhiegh, go to www.imdb.com and enter his name in the box (Make sure pick "Name" and not "Title") You'll be amazed. When you get to his filmography, hit the "5-0" hyperlink and you can research virtually every person that had anything to do with "5-0" including just about every guest that appeared as well.

Jack Lord's character, Steve McGarrett, was a class-act. Theman had integrity, passion and imagination. He was a great, devoted leader, a quick and good decision-maker and couldnot be bribed or forced to abuse his power. Keep the manalive, WGN-Chicago, through continued airing of Hawaii 5-0!

I just want to correct an inacuracy in the date of death concerning the actor Khigh Dhiegh. According to the Arizona Republic he died on the 26th of Oct. l991 at age of 75 of kidney and heart failure. In many web articles it says he died in nov. at 8l years of age. He didn't look that old!Can you tell I'm a fan? Also I'd like to thank Mr. Mike Quigley for being so generous as to put my name at the bottom of his very good report on the 5-0 Convention '99 as a contributer to that page...but, alas, the only thing I might have contributed was telling him how long the hula girl spent on a hot soundstage to film that short take in the beginning of the show! But thank you Mr. Mike, I feel I gained a bit of immortality when my friends say, "Eh, Susan! I see your name on dat Hawaii 5-0 stuff!!!" wow. Also, any new info on Khigh Dhiegh would be appreciated. We can trade.

I just saw this well old film called "Television Spy" with Richard Denning from 1939. What a hunk! This film was a real corker and he was great. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

First, it's nice to see WGN showing episodes five days a week, even though they are being shown at 4 a.m. est. (too bad, though, that they cut in with commercials more than every 15 minutes). I just saw the episode "Run, Johnny, Run" from early 1970. Did anyone notice that, in the jail scene near the beginning, the suspect is meeting with a lawyer (I believe he was a lawyer)? This person looked really familiar to me, and in the closing credits, the name Al Michaels was shown. I'm certain that this is the same Al Michaels of ABC Monday Night Football.

This page is absoulutely awesome! I could not have ever imagined that the show was this popular! Unfourtunatly, I'm 13, and since they buried Five-0 (the only show aired today that has the privlege of being called my favorite) on Sunday nights, I don't get to see the reruns. I've ordered the tapes from Columbia House, and they're also excellent. Thanks so much for creating this page, I am forever in your debt!
