Your admirable home page, until recently, offered the Five-O soundtrack album in Mp3 format. I would like to find out where I can download it. Urgently yours, Richard (I have no idea. The link where these files were located (which is still accessible on my home page if you look at the page source, where it has been commented out) is no longer functional. Until it is, this link will not be displayed. -- MQ)

I am a big 5-0 fan but was just wondering if anyone knew if this is true: I heard that Jack Lord was the boss away from the cameras, bossing everyone around and that nobody liked him much. Also I heard that him and "Danno" never spoke much to each other when they were not filming. Is any of this true??????? If anyone could answer me, I would appreciate it very much. My e-mail address is: email@example.com

I've been a Five-O fan since it aired on September 26, 1968. I just wish they could make a motion picture staring Harrison Ford as the lead role. Aloha Phil

I've been a long time fan of Jack Lord & Hawaii Five-O. Just by chance I typed in "Jack Lord" to see if there was anything on him. Your site came up & what a pleasant surprise it was. Loved it!! Would like to have seen something on the villian Wo Fat though. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...I'm going to tell my friends to visit your site.

I was very surprised to find such a complete site for one of my all-time favourite shows. It's currently being reshown in Britain on Granada Plus, and when the first 100 episodes were shown (they've now moved on to the next 100), James MacArthur was flown in to launch them, right down to doing a spot for the channel. It was slightly embarrassing to watch the shot of him running in the first season opening credits cut to his present self running, and made me think that Jack Lord had the right idea about being reclusive. But I would like to register a difference of opinion about "Nine Dragons" - it was shown over Christmas, and I thought it was AWFUL! If it wasn't for the late Morton Stevens it would have had no redeeming features. But that's what opinions are for, and the existence of this site erases any complaints anyway.

I really like your homepage, and I think you could make it even better by adding a WAV sound to it, like the Hawaii Five-O theme song perhaps! If you need the code, my e-mail address is nEw_brEEd_gIrL@hotmail.com! Just e-mail me and I can help you out with sounds for your page! £~*Amanda*~£

My family and I had the privilege to attend the Five-0 Reunion last month. What a beautiful tribute to the show and to Jack Lord, who was not only a brilliant performer but a gifted artist as well. Took quite a few pictures & video and all turned out great. I began watching the show when I was 10 yrs. old and continued watching thru high school. What a great role model Jack was for kids. There will never be another Five-0 or Jack, but we'll treasure the memories forever!

Any reason given as to why James MacArthur did not attend the reunion? Just wondered as there was no mention of him in the article. (No. -- MQ)

I was sorry to hear that Herman Wedemeyer passed away. First "Jack Lord" then "Richard Denning" and now "Herman Duke Wedemeyer" I just hope we are not losing the original cast one by one? Now there is only "James McArthur, Zulu and Kam Fong" and just a few left. I would like to express my condolinces to the family of Mr. Herman Wedemyer and Richard Denning. They along with Jack Lord will be missed. Sincerily Vern Conway

love your site, i am alone among my social circle in loving this show. it's kind of corny but at the same time well done and reminds of childhood -- my father loyally watched it every week.

I just returned from 18 days in Hawaii. While there I attended the 30th anniversary celebration held on the old sound-stage at the Hawaii Film Studios. Marie Lord was there along with Doug Mossman (master of ceremonies) and numerous other guest stars, producers, etc. Richard Denning's daughter accepted a plaque in his honor. One of the old Mercury cars was on display, as was some of Jack's graphic art works. Since I just got back, I haven't gotten my pictures developed yet, but I'm hoping they turned out ok. Jimmy Borges was there too.....he was so nice to everyone and posed for pictures as requested....I even got a big hug! There were lots of souvenirs to buy and they also had an auction of some of Jack's clothing! I wasn't in Hawaii for this purpose, but when I saw that it was going on, I had to be there!! (See http://www.mjq.net/fiveo/99reunion for some pictures I took. - MQ)
