If Hawai Five-O is made into a movie, these are the ideal candidates for the "movie" version of McGarrett. I would choose between David Hasselhoff or Alec Baldwin. Lee Majors and some other actors might be a little older, but McGarrett should be played by a actor who looks like he is in his late 30s or early 40s. Also, Tom Fujiwara was uncredited in the episode Blind Tiger, as the emergency room doctor.

Don't you think the best candidates to play McGarrett in the 5-0 movie I'm hearing rumors about are Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford? How about Danno? Keanu Reeves maybe? And how bout Gary Oldman for a villain? This page needs more KAM FONG highlights too!!!

Just a short note about Jack Lord. In the early 70's I use to date a girl whose father claimed he went to High School with Jack Lord... It was John Jay in Richmond Hill, NY. The same school Rodeney Dangerfield went to. I never verified this, so I'm wondering if it is true?

What does Five-O mean literally ? Thanks. (It means the number "50" as in "Hawaii was the fiftieth state." - MQ)

'Steve-O' of 'Five-0' has been my man since the fourth grade. 20 years later...I'm still hooked! Great web-site! Is James MacArthur the third canoe paddler at the end of the credits?

Watching Hawaii Five-O on the Family Channel after reading these web pages can be SO frustrating! It's as though someone at the Channel checks out Mike Quigley's episode reviews, finds out which scenes and lines are notable, then cuts them out. In the recent episode "Death is a Company Policy," the scene with the woman secretary's "classic putdown" was cut, as was the comment about Danno's bachelor history, plus ALL the Iron Brain computer info on McGarrett! Whoever does the cutting is obviously not a Five-0 fan!

Aloha! As usual, I am enjoying my visit to my favourite spot on the web - The Hawaii Five-O Home Page. Mahalo for your hard work in making this the best home page on the web. Thanks also for the great H50 info you supply us with. I look forward to finding out more information on the next H50 convention. P.S. my mother in FLA loved the H50 info book I made for her for her 73rd birthday. "Hang Loose Brudda!"

As usual, I enjoy visiting my favourite spot on the web - The Hawaii Five-O Home Page. It's a dreary day in Jersey today - so I'm visiting the sunny paradise of Hawaii through you. Mahalo for all the time you devote to this endeavor.

I am thrilled that Hawaii 5-0 is back on TV! My kids have never seen the show and its like seeing it 'new' all over again through their eyes. My 10-year old son is especially enjoying it. James MacArthur 'rules', as far as I'm concerned! He is the best character. (My sons agree, with no coaching from Mom, of course!) Keep up the good work and keep those tidbits coming!

As a kid who grew up in Hawaii, Five-O was a major event in my life. I saw various episodes being filmed around the island. The show brought Hawaii to the attention of the rest of the world. Now when I watch the reruns of Five-O on the Family Channel, I see how much the island has change since then. Congratulations on a great website. Brings back lots of fond memories. I watch "Hawaii Five-O" every night on the Family Channel. I watch to see Danny! James MacArthur was underrated and underused even though he was the best thing about the show. Jack Lord's and Steve McGarret's egos are bigger than the state of Hawaii! When James MacArthur left the show, so did I!!!!!!!!!

MY HUSBAND JIM WATCHES HAWAII FIVE O EVERY NIGHT ON THE FAMILY CHANNEL. HE ALSO GOT ME HOOKED ON IT. WE WERE BOTH WONDERING HOW EVERYONE WAS DOING AND IF WE MAY BE ABLE TO E-MAIL THEM JUST TO SAY ALOHA. MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH WERE ONLY KIDS WHEN THE SHOW WAS ON THE AIR. I GUESS YOU UNDERSTAND THINGS ALOT MORE WHEN YOU ARE AN ADULT. MY HUSBAND AND I HOPE THAT THEY ARE ALL DOING WELL AND WOULD LIKE TO ONE DAY E-MAIL TO THEM. THANK YOU. I will become persistant! A note to the Family Channel,SLOW THE FIVE-0 THEME BACK DOWN! A note I would like to have delivered to Mr. Jack Lord, to get MacArthur off your case (so to speak) about your health, maybe you could try to fit a FIVE-O Convention into your schedule. (I am a BIG fan of yours:-)!).

I started watching Hawaii Five-O in 1968. I was 7 at the time. I have seen every episode at least once. I really enjoy how quickly Steve McGarrett is able to out guess even the most intelligent criminals. With Five-O on the islands no crime goes unsolved. We need more scenes featuring Danno!!!

Your Five-O page is the greatest. I can't believe the level of detail it includes, down to the license plate numbers. I love watching Five-O and I hope to make it to Hawaii someday. Some people think I'm a little overboard with my Five-O infatuation, but they obviously haven't seen your web site which makes me just a Five-O dabbler. Keep up the excellent work.

Really enjoyed reading all the information on Hawaii Five-O. Very interesting. Can anyone help me find an old business card for McGarrett? I have a super idea for a gift for a friend that loves the show and I need one of his business cards to make it work. I have no idea where to go to find one. Does anyone out there have one? Anyone know where I might try to find one. Please help if you can. Time is running out. Thanks.

I am so glad that i was able to find this Hawaii five-o home page. I am a college student and was looking for some info so that i could give a speech on how great Hawaii Five-o was and still is now that it is back on the air. McGarrett gives a racist Samoan an education, in which he used the correct terms for Asian nationalities. Too bad that the Samoan Tasi stuck out his tongue, in which he does not give a ???????????????.

I will always wonder if Jack did some heavy plucking on those eyebrows in his later disco seventies episodes. He was more anal and schizoid then the other Jack of Dragnet fame. Is this personality type a reoccurring phenomena in thespians portraying cops and with the real name Jack? I wonder.

Just a small piece of trivia. Five-0 was supposed to be the state police of Hawaii. In reality Hawaii is the only state that has no state police force of all 50 states.

The episode Highest Castle, Deepest Grave had a tragic ending, in which a post traumatic stress disorder was expressed at the end, before the Lorena Bobbitt case. There was a spoof in which the revolver was fired seven times, but the cylinder of a Smith and Wesson holds six shots.

There was a line that McGarrett said to Che Fong, in which he said "That's my corpus delicti, Che.", in which he found the body of the crime. This is after the surgical rod was found in four buckets of ash that McGarrett paid $5.00 for.
